If you submission was accepted, congratulations! If you haven't done so yet, send in your liner notes and, if applicable, licensing information for cover songs/arrangements. See the FAQ for more information (specifically sections 6 and 2).
And now for some updates on liner notes:
If you e-mailed liner notes but have not received a response, that's normal. Confirmation e-mails will be sent out as the notes get looked over. This will take at least another week. Not surprisingly, a large number of people sent their notes in the last few days before and after the audio submissions deadline. In fact, out of all the notes received so far, about 60% arrived in the past two weeks. So hang tight, and please, there's no need to stress out or get worried (not yet, anyway!
). The audio submissions deadline is over, but that's just the first stage. The full liner notes document cannot be completed until all contributors' notes have first been received. And they have not all been received yet.
Currently there is no set deadline for the notes, but I'm going to say that it will be within a few weeks — probably sometime in July or early August at the latest. It depends on how the other cogs in the project wheel are doing. However, I will emphasize that if you submitted a cover song/arrangement and have not sent in your liner notes yet, that's okay, but please send the licensing info to Harold as soon as possible. Getting all the licenses is necessary to keep CD-IV legal, so please send that info. Everything you need to know is in the FAQ — see section 2.
This page and the FAQ have been quiet for the past few months, but now that the audio submissions deadline has passed, more and more announcements will be made.
Already looking forward to hearing your recordings!
